A Single Grain Irish Whiskey, originally distilled in County Cork, Ireland with a mash bill of 95% French Maize (Corn) and 5% Irish Malted Barley.

Matured first in ex-bourbon barrels, and then finished for 6 months in casks that previously held the Award Winning “Mark X 2007” Barbados Rum from Foursquare Rum Distillery in Barbados. This “Exceptional Cask Selection” produced highly expressive and complex barrels that married beautifully with this Single Grain Irish Whiskey.

High n’ Wicked “Foursquare” has been bottled at 50% ABV (100 Proof). No Additives. Non-Chill Filtered (some cloudiness may occur).

Tasting Notes

On the nose, coconut, treacle, lemon peel, almond, nougat, fig and vanilla – giving way to subtle tropical fruit notes of mango and candied pineapple. On the palate, rich and sweet on the open, highlighting baking spice notes of clove and cinnamon, immediately followed by rich caramel and candied hazelnuts. It lingers gently and finished soft with a hint of custard.

This finish combines the nuanced and subtle characters of traditional Single Grain Irish Whisey with the bold and complex profile of Foursquare Rum. The end result being a markedly complex yet easy drinking spirit.
